Spank the Butler rocked the Creme party

With a part live, part dj set, Spank the Butler closed the Creme party in the Pip in The Hague. Officially till 4, the audience demanded to keep on going until way past 4 when the people from the venue begged to stop since they really had to close down.

We are very excited to play next to Rude since he mastered our first records as well (and the flyer rocks big time!).

Spank the Butler banging the Bootleg at 6 in the morning

After some very good sets by Raoul, Alwin, Patrique and Dica, it was the task of Spank the Butler to close the party last Saturday at the Bootleg dj cafe. These two videos were made by Dica during their set. It was played with two Macbooks and a Korg Kaossilator pro between 5 and 7 am.

Although the Bootleg usually closes at 6, people were going crazy so they stayed open for another hour.

DYFR 002 - Spank the Butler in stores now!

And there it is: the DYFR 002 Spank the Butler if finally available. You can order it trough the Godspill store which has lots of other good Westcoastsound of Holland music as well.

DYFR002 - Spank the Butler, coming up!

It has been a bit quiet in the Spank the Butler camp. The Butler was on holiday and we used the opportunity to finish up on some tracks and remixes.

The good news is: DYFR 002 is mastered (by one of the godfathers of Dutch electro: Ruud Lexx or Rude66 as you might know him)! Now it is waiting for the first test pressings to appear. In the meantime we put a little mix together from some old and some new tracks and remixes so you can have a listen while waiting on the vinyl version.

The people of the Mindfuckmondays are spanked

The first live performance was a great success despite the midi problems and the setlist that was thrown away within 30 seconds. Still we managed to spank everybody for 75 minutes on pure improvisation! Have a look a the video.
