DYFR 002 - Spank the Butler in stores now!

And there it is: the DYFR 002 Spank the Butler if finally available. You can order it trough the Godspill store which has lots of other good Westcoastsound of Holland music as well.

If you want the bonus cd with your record that contains, next two the three tracks on the record, two remixes of Baz Reznik and Patrique, order your copy at the DYFR headquarters.

Next week the record will also be available trough Clone so no excuses here!

DYFR002 - Spank the Butler, coming up!

It has been a bit quiet in the Spank the Butler camp. The Butler was on holiday and we used the opportunity to finish up on some tracks and remixes.

The good news is: DYFR 002 is mastered (by one of the godfathers of Dutch electro: Ruud Lexx or Rude66 as you might know him)! Now it is waiting for the first test pressings to appear. In the meantime we put a little mix together from some old and some new tracks and remixes so you can have a listen while waiting on the vinyl version.

The people of the Mindfuckmondays are spanked

The first live performance was a great success despite the midi problems and the setlist that was thrown away within 30 seconds. Still we managed to spank everybody for 75 minutes on pure improvisation! Have a look a the video.

We're gonna spank you!

On the Mindfuckmondays! In a small venue called "De Vinger" in the centre of f*cked up The Hague. The place is owned by the former owner of the "Hasbollah" the famous bar in squatter-kingdom "The Blauwe Aanslag". Be sure to bring earplugs because the sound can be as loud as on the old "Acidplanet" parties! With us there will be some dj's playing various deep-house, Chicago acid and disco stuff. One of them is the owner of the DYFR label where our next record will be released.

The guys from STB are not here to serve you, but it seems that they are treatening you guys a lot with their uncompromised sounds. You lucky basterds.

Watch out for some deep, hypnotic and crispy sounds. Another tune to take serious!

New DYFR release?

Word out there is that there will be a new DYFR release from some unknown artists. Look here for a sneak preview of what might be on the record.

After DYFR001 last year, word on the streets is that there might be a DYFR002 in the near future. Some tracks were send to the DYFR office and turned out to be very good. Tracks from two unknown guys from the West Coast of Holland will probably soon appear on the next DYFR. To have an idea about what this release is gonna sound like, take a listen to the following sample:
